U.S.S. Intrepid - November 11, 2003

We performed that evening on the U.S.S. Intrepid museum. We made many new friends that day! Thanks to Pat and all the gang at the United War Veterans Council of New York City for putting together a great day to honor our Veterans.

After the show, we posed with this cardboard cutout of the "Father of the U.S.O." Bob Hope.

New York City Veteran's Day Parade - November 11, 2003

On Monday night, we had fun getting ready for the parade the next day.
The next morning, we made our way down to the float division! We were so proud to ride on the Korean War Veterans float as this was the anniversary of the Korean War.
We met some great military friends.

This gentleman was just back from Iraq.

The Tin Can Sailors were a hoot!

We also made new friends with NY Post 1404.

As the parade got started, we sang our way down Broadway!

After the parade, we say goodbye to our Veterans and other friends.

"Talk to my Harry Winston - tell me all about it!"

District 1 AMVETS Commander's Dinner - November 8, 2003

We were honored to perform at the District I AMVETS Commander's Dinner.

Showing off our 50's stuff - with Elvis in black leather and We Go Together in poodle skirts!

Having a little fun with the visiting National AMVETS representatives.
Christi and Debbie were presented with their official Glory Girl jackets. Our friends then started their pin collection from the Willimantic Elks, State AMVETS and National AMVETS.
